I am Mohamed Ben Amara, born in 1993 in Tunisia, I studied plastic arts at the institute of fine arts in Tunisia, I specialized in engraving, in 2016 I received my bachelor degree, and I am currently pursuing my research master’s degree at Alma Mater University in Bologna.
I was fond with several forms of art from a very young age, I enjoyed listening to music, even playing some instruments, but it was painting that caught my attention the most, in matter of fact I started painting when I was merely four years old, I started drawing cartoons with a pen, and as my passion grew I incorporated other tools in my works including gouache, watercolor and acrylic.
During my studies, I got the chance to gain additional skills, in different domains such as ceramic, sculpture, photography and most of all engravings that I chose to be my specialty.
Having acquired a solid base of knowledge and skills in painting and different forms of visual arts, I decided to form myself in modern design techniques (Graphical arts, Web design), specifically in User Interface design and User Experience.
I am currently working on improving my 2D designing and modeling techniques, as well as my animation abilities, to pursue my childhood dream of becoming a 2D designer and animator.
This is my blog, where I decided to share my works and sketches; you may find anything related to visual arts from plastic art to digital design, here is a link to my end of studies project. If you have any suggestions please let me know.
